We are nomads!
This year Dara Art Gallery participated, in Paris, at the @menart_fair 2025. An original and absolutely wonderful art fair dedicated to the Mena region. This year we brought a solo show by @rashid_diab . Also had the opportunity to present the books published by @almasartfoundationuk ; Visual Arts in Sudan, Sudanese Kitchen and Sudan Retold. What a good experience, lots of fun, cool artists and galerists and an amazing organization by the Menart Fair team. Thank you for having us! October 2025 saw our participation in an international art fair focused on the MENA region — the lovely and meticulously curated @menart_fair Paris. Until March 8th, enjoy the works of @daralnaimart and @rashid_diab at the lovely and most welcoming @lsguirandou.gallery . Waves of Sorrow, an intergenerational exhibtion of two Sudanese contemporary artists. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DD26smGI2EL/ For our first time @fig_bilbao we bring @rashid_diab to the fair. Painter, printmaker and african art theoretician. Celebrating 25 years with the founders @mercarmonart & @rashid_diab ! Unfortunately like a huge part of the people of Sudan we have lost our home, our gallery. However we have found the walls of @fig_bilbao to once again hang our works and represent Sudan at the international level. This is our first year participating. Presenting printworks and works on paper. For our first time @fig_bilbao we bring @mercarmonart to the fair. Printmaker, painter and african art theoritcian. This 17th of November for the first time in Kenya, @daralnaimart will have a solo exhibition at Red Hill Art Gallery. It has been a year in the planning and now a reality! Don't miss this great show. Also get a chance to meet the artist on the day. Contemporary Visions of Sudan. The latest endeavour by @downtown.gallery aiming to bring consciousness of the tumultuous times the Sudanese people face as the war continues, but also looking to raise awareness within the international community of the diverse cultures we embrace and the identity-forming mission that the Sudanese civilization is constantly fighting for. This time with curation by Yafil Mubarak ( @darartgallery ) and @rahiem.shadad ( @downtown.gallery ) giving his all, all the way from Nairobi, Kenya.
